Elizabeth brought her baby, Avery, to church today. He is 4 months old and up to 6 lbs 8 oz. he is still so much smaller than most newborn babies!  It was a blessing to hold him!  We are still praying for his brother, Averitt to get to come out in public. He still has a long way to go.

Jillian loves her pretty things!  She never misses an opportunity to get all prettied up and model for the camera!

My friend, Miclele Rowsey Chaimberland, came up for the weekend. It was fun to spend the weekend running around and doing girlie things. Jillian even got in on the action and had us play a game of Ticket To Ride.

My friend, Lou Ann called me and asked me to ride to Crossville with her. Fun unexpected day trip!

I ran across this cookie jar on a Pottery Barn web site and fell in love with it. After trying to get it online and failing, I called Momma and asked if she would check the store in Mt. Juliet. They didn't have it but they found it in a store clear across Nashville. She and Daddy drove out of their way to get it for me!  I think I have the greatest parents ever!

The final day of the Spirit Week has come. Today is the Tomahawk Trot. The class runs laps around the parking lot. 5 laps equal a mile. Jillibean ran 10 laps!  She's a great runner and full of school spirit!!!

Wacky-Tacky Day was a huge success today!  Even Algood Police had fun with all the craziness!  Jillian and Ella were both among the wackiest and tackiest in their classes.

Today was a beautiful day at the wedding of Stephanie Apple and Jason Wetzel.  We had a fun drive to Louisville. The weather was perfect and the company was fantastic. John and Vickey stirred up the dance floor with their favorite dance.  Stephanie was a beautiful bride!

Happy Birthday, big #12. Jackson finally has Nana willing to buy him things that have Florida Gators on them, but GrandDad still protests!  Fun in the family.

Vickey took a class at her church with Lauren and learned how to make the big pretty wreaths that are popular right now. She did a great job and make a UT one. Way to go, Vickey!

Jillian finally found her Elsa doll! She has been looking everywhere for her. She and John finally found her at Books-a-Million. She was so proud that she came home and put on her matching dress-up dress!  Girls are so cute and fun!

Papaw has been sick with bronchitis and a bood infection and has had several days in the hospital. It is hard for us to see Papaw be so sick. When we visited him today it was good to see him finally up in a chair. That made Jillian happy. She has been very worried about him and prays for him daily. We definitely love our Papaw!
