Jonah received a special gift from Nana today. She and GrandDad had taken a trip to the Ozark's in Branson, Missouri and saw "Jonah" at Sight and Sound Theater while they were there. She couldn't resist getting him a special shirt to match his special name. He was very happy to have it!

This week I was going through my time capsule box and I ran across this old photo of Grammy and Papaw. I have always loved the story of their romance.
Papaw had been serving in the Navy. The soldiers had returned home and were all going to the local high school. Another sailor was in the hallway and saw my Grammy. He caught her and scooped her up, took her into the classroom where Papaw was and sat her down in Papaw's lap. He said, "Look what I found! Here, you can have this one!" Papaw asked her out.
Grammy's father was very strict. He didn't want her to have a serious boyfriend so he would not allow her to see a boy more than three times. He felt that more than three dates was too serious. They carefully spread their three dates out. On their third "date" they got married. They were married for almost three months by the time of their graduation.

Jackson is such a good help around the house. We cleaned and mowed the yard yesterday. After we moved the trampoline there was a spot that was left unmowed. My big boy got out there and took care of it for us! I just love this boy so much!

The kids have been told that they have to keep their beds make every day since we are trying to sell the house. Jonah has been very creative and careful to make sure his little friends are all placed "just so" so they can all be happy.

John had to do the painting in here because it broke my heart to even think about doing it. I did take a picture of it first and I transferred all the marks to bead board that will go up in the new house. I am going to place the picture of the Family Wall by the new wall in the new house.

Jonah is such a cutie! He and his friend, Eli have created a little business this summer where they make bracelets and sell them. They each have a brief case. Jonah has awesome business attire!
July 15
We put our house on the market today and the realtor, Chad Crouch, said it would be a good idea to go ahead and take down our "Family Wall". I have been thinking about how to do this. It holds such special memories! On this wall, we have: The Apple's- John, Wendy, Jackson, Jonah, Jillian, Granny, Uncle Mark, and Aunt Lauren; the Corley's- GrandDad, Nana, Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Kelley, Caleb, Andrew, Matthew, and Ethan; Aunt Faye; and The Aranda's- Dimas, Rossy, Samuel, Gabriel, and Keren. I love our family! We are so blessed! Thank You, Jesus, for loving me this much!

I spent the day making William's infinity bibs for him. He was awake when I took them over to him, so he modeled them for me! Sweet William!
July 13
What a special moment today at church! GrandDad baptized Jillian. He talked about her being seven years old and how that seven is a special number to God. It was a beautiful service. Praise The Lord for my whole family is complete in Him!

My boys are finally home! I think they had a great week at Camp. We sure did miss them! It looks like Squishy is worn out. It looks like they were as happy to see Gabe as they were to see Mommy and Daddy.
July 8
Jillian celebrates turning 7 with her friends! Emily and Ella, Jillian and Lily, and Macy and Allison.
July 7
The boys left today for CENTRIKID Camp today. It will be a long week without them. They are going to Campbellsville, KY. I love my boys and hope they learn a lot this week!
July 6
The boys got to lead the Pledge of Allegiance in church today for the 4th of July Celebration! I was a little late getting the picture though.
