December 31

It has been an awesome year and we have had amazing friends and family to spend it with. We are so blessed to have the Aranda's and Herberman's to laugh and celebrate with. God is great!

December 30

Movie time with friends. We saw "Annie" and I was really blown away. They did an amazing job recreating the movie. The kids loved it!

December 29

Jackson loves playing with anything engineering minded. This is a game Nana and GrandDad gave us for Christmas that involves balancing and building.

Somehow while having a friend over, Mickey & Minnie Mouse got a little frisky. Hmm.

December 22

A little quiet cozy time.

December 21

Nana's project for this year' Corley Christmas, tie-dye t-shirts. Everyone's shirt came out great! We had a lot of fun doing them. Nana and Kelley even made one for Olivia so when we go to Florida in October we will have a tie-dye shirt day. (Caleb is hiding)

December 20

The kids love Jingle. Today he found his little buddy. Jillian's Barbie horse is evidently just right for Jingle and Buddy to ride around the house.

December 13

We spent a wonderful evening in Mt. Juliet with Mom and Daddy's Sunday School class. John was invited to be the guest musician. He played beautiful Christmas music. We participated in the silent auction, had wonderful food (prepared by Freddie the Great, aka Daddy), sang carols and were blessed with sweet fellowship.

I finally got Keren and Gabriel to come over to let me measure them.

December 11

After school snack.

December 10

Jingle figured he would outsmart the kids today by taking their iPods and DS.

December 9

We haven't gotten to measure the kids recently, so we got the boards out today to check their growth. They have all had growth spurts!

December 8

For an after school snack we went to Wendy's for a frosty. Thanks GrandDad for the free frosty tickets!

December 7

Jillian and her friend Caitlin are getting into the Christmas spirit.

December 6

Jingle thinks he is being clever.

December 5

Today we went to the bank to have Santa pictures made. Everyone did great!  The kids always look forward to it.

December 4

Today was Jillian's first basketball practice. Last year she cheered for upward. Granny is very proud that she is playing this year. She actually did very good at shooting. Granny and I were quite impressed!

December 3

Jackson is a fast runner. His speed and strength amaze me. He has turned into such a fine young man and I am very proud of him.

December 2

Our Elf on the Shelf, Jingle, is back around for the Christmas season. He is holding Beby Jesus today.

December 1

Jackson found Jonah's friend, Eli, wearing a hoodie he likes and thinks he has to have.

I can't resist posting this GodVine picture because there is so much truth in it!

November 27

Happy Thanksgiving to my family!  This has become my favorite holiday because I get to serve my family. This is the day that welcomes in the beauty of the Christmas Season.  Praise God for the blessing of the birth of our Lord, Jesus the Christ!

November 26

Jillian got a nursery rhyme song book from Kitty and GrandDad. We learned that the keyboard on the book translates to the piano keys. She has been practicing daily to play for them!

November 25

Jillian's class had a Thanksgiving Feast today. These are her friends: Caitlin, Jillian, Mya, and Macy.

November 24

When it's quiet inside, something must be going on outside... Like building a fort in the neighbors back yard. Amazing!

November 19

Tonight was our Thanksgiving program at church. Jackson, Jonah, and Jillian all sang in their choirs. Jackson had a speaking part. He quoted John 3:16: "For God so loved the world in this way, that He gave His one and only begotten son, that whosoever shall believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."  Proud Mommy moment!

November 18

First Snow-day of the school year!  Snow-days mean more friends in the house but they don't necessarily mean piles of snow. Haha!

November 17

On their trip North, Mom and Daddy are staying with Wendy and Joe for a couple days. This is Mom with Wendy and Amy. Amy and I were friends from babys because her dad, Bob, and my dad were stationed together in Florida and became close friends. Our parents all ended up in Massachusetts when we were toddlers for a while.

November 16

Jackson, Jonah, and Jillibean all participated in Operation Christmas Child.

November 15

Mom and Daddy are having a great time sledding and playing in the snow in Vermont.

A little bit early, but still a good time to celebrate Papaw's 88th birthday.
